Image Value Added Matrix (IVAM) is a radiologist’s time management application to document value-added, non-interpretative activities. These activities are essential to health care delivery, but are typically not reimbursed under fee-for-service payment models. With IVAM, the radiologist simply specifies the location, date, duration, category of value, and a brief description. The data is then stored and available for later data mining and summary reports.
